This game has become unplayable after the new launcher every game plays eventually crashes, sometimes within the first 20 turns. I have tried both the DirectX 11 and 12 but the same thing happens it just crashes and exits to desktop and all is lost, i must have played 2000 + hours of this game and this crap only started happening after the 2k launcher. The game has become unplayable and i miss the crap out of some civ gaming but the state of this game atm is just a cluster ♥♥♥♥, pls fix so i can nuke Gandhi again.

PS: I have reinstalled the game and I'm no longer using mods, dosen't change a thing..

Haven't seen the launcher in years! I think I saw it for a couple months when they first added it 3 or 4 years ago, before getting sick of it and searching a way to skip it. The same method still works. Think the moderator even had that info in one of the pinned threads, but not positive.

edit: yep, the tech support and troubleshooting thread in main sub-forum has the skip launcher post pinned as the "answer" to the thread.
