I have checked for a fix for this on reddit, and basically everywhere else I can look to no luck. I have turned down my graphics settings (though that shouldn't really be an issue) and nothing has helped. Every 20 or so turns my game will just randomly freeze. Sometimes I have to task manager out of it. Not really sure what to do or if anyone else has experienced this issue?

cpu specs?
overall computer health?
windows version?
etc...

There's a lot of variables missing there. Game works fine on win10 on mine, 86 mods, Huge 2:1 map 13major civ, 14cs,, not a single crash on marathon and I never had any game freezing.
also, this game is cpu heavy, not gpu. even if you have an rtx and got a subpar cpu, it's useless.
