would be keen to hear what the doom-and-gloom posters who vehemently denied so much as a possibility of a PC release have to say for themselves now

In this thread maybe.

There've been quite a few "It's sony exclusive and never coming to pc!" posts since the ps5 announcement.

cool, should probably take that to threads that are...idk. talking about that. not a "maybe" here at all.

It's more of a case of "definitely not at all" not "maybe" for "if"

Actually, you're just showing that you haven't seen any of the other conversations on this subject making your statement somewhat moot.

I didn't deny it was coming to pc. Ever.

I've been one of the ones pointing at the constant movement on the steam depot since September while the naysayers said I was wrong.

Are they really doing an entire separate store page and everything for this? I assumed the "director's cut" content would just be a DLC on the existing store page for people to buy.

Glad I waited. Nothing worse than a game developer double dip.

Skyrim Anniversary Edition has its own page and a upgrade DLC option if you already owned Skyrim, this is almost certainly the same thing.
They'll add the upgrade DLC option when it actually goes live. There is zero reason to think otherwise as this is exactly what they did on PlayStation for Death Stranding as well.

of course i have not, it's not relevant in *this* thread, so why should i care

no one commented about any denial you did or did not claim. you are again, discussing things no one asked you about.

Finally, had this game in the backlog for over a year waiting for the full version to drop. I'm guessing we'll be seeing a March release date assuming the PS5 content has 6 months of platform exclusivity.

It's more of a case of "when" not "if" for when the Director's Cut content comes to PC.

we're about to find out shortly. im not sure how much that exclusivity matters if the reveal of this update is coming via...intel.

hopefully not. though if intel is touting support for their GPU, this might coincide with that launch.

or we get a surprise patch drop today post presentation.
