So whenever I bring the statue to the little game that is being ran, I try to interact with 2-bit to get the voice recording; but when I do, the screen shifts like something is about to happen, but then the statue falls on the floor and then 2-Bit is unable to be interacted with. Is there any fix for this? I know this is a massive part of getting people to arrive at the party.

Uh make sure you are playing on the latest beta build as to be sure that is hotfixed and not a release or post-hotfix bug.

Make sure you are on the "what wenjis want" quest first. I heard you could just give the statue to 2bit but I had no luck. You gotta kick off the WWW portion, so go to her lab in the afternoon and snoop. If you don't have her lab code, you get it during "space invaders". So if you know how to get charlie and Fie together in the afternoon, you have the code.

Once you realize she's looking for "the door", you can go to 2bit to chop up the audio and he'll make an invite that mentions the door, enticing her to go to the party that night and freeing up your afternoon to ruin a date.

I just want to confirm that Iggy's suggestion is probably the solution here.

Two days ago, I discovered "The Runt" statue fairly early in my playthrough and had read that I need to take it to 2-bit, but when I did so, I had no interaction option that referred to the statue. I could interact with 2-bit, but the only available option was to access his developer control menu.

The reason was, as Iggy stated, that I had not progressed Wenjie's lead far enough. My character simply did not yet know what an enticing invitation for Wenjie would sound like, so he did not yet know how to make use of the statue's recorded speech. I had to discover crucial information (about "the door") in Wenjie's lab first.

I think this puzzle could have been designed better: If you bring the Runt to 2-bit, Colt could ask "I have a sound file of Aleksis here, can you create an enticing invitation for Wenjie out of that?". And then 2-bit could reply "I can edit the sounds, but what would Wenjie like?". After which Colt would realize "I have to find more information about Wenjie". There are several puzzles in this game that can be surprisingly difficult if you don't do them in the exact same way and order that the devs had in mind. Kind of a pity, but not a big deal either imho.
