picked this game up today and played campaign about 2 hours and Endless for about another 2 and i love the game but I came back to play and my campaign save just wont load, nothing happens, if i have to restart its alright but i was wondering if this has happened to anyone else

Can you upload the save file somewhere we can inspect it? Also you can always go to the level select screen and pick the level you were on, or the one before!

i just decided to replay it :)

exact same problem, now second time I launched the game, can't open my manual save nor the steam auto save. When I click load the ui dissapears until I hit a key as if the menu restarted. Here are both saves https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1cvU0JiLh0ER2kdYhIZWgzwOdncLC-O6c?usp=sharing. In the meantime I'll just load from level select, I saved at the start of a new level anyway

Unfortunately i dont have access to this document, youll have to set the permissions to public in order for us to view it.

I dont know if it is a common issue but i was browsing open forums for the same thing.
just wont load anything at all, trying to load on the title screen will cause the menu to completely disappear and loading while in game nothing happens.
also when pausing i have to press twice since one press just brings up the menu without being able to interact with it while the game still plays/controls in the background though the second press works, very strange, still a really fun game tho

this is interesting, as your save actually loads fine on our end, would you mind adding "-logfile output_log.txt" as a launch option, running the game, attempting to load the save, then closing the game, and finding the resulting logfile in the games folder and sending it our way? thanks so much for helping us track this down!

the issue here i believe is the "-" in the file name, if you remove that, i think it should work fine!

for some reason, your "miosave" file has a .vdf file extension. remove that extension, and just have the file called "miosave" and it will load fine! (just loaded your save locally)
