Walk out of the mine, start the conversation, i'm told i need to buy a memory card, my character takes 2 steps forward, no menu opens, the game just sit's there, and i am unable to do anything? Anyone else had this issue pop-up, found a work-around/bug fix?

is it possible for you to send your save folder over to shona@chuckefish.org ?
We're not sure what's causing it and we can't get accurate logs to reproduce it on our end. You should be able to find the saves in %appdata%/Pixpil/[STEAMID]/SaveData

I got stuck as well. Just return to title then start from the last save (this should be in the Shop). Talk to the shopkeeper and the menu will work normally.

I've tried that multiple times, my last save places me back in the cave, and i have to start the whole dialogue over again, and it freezes again/just sits at the same point. I really want to play the game but this is frustrating.

Just bumping for a possible fix.

is this happening on your first play through, or when you are using the chapter select?

First play-thru (which has been great, up to this point).

paaaah, this looks like it was introduced over Christmas.
I've let the devs know, hopefully we can get a workaround, or a fix out asap!
