Imo story games don't have much replay value after doing everything that you can in it.

Define "replay value". You can play any game you want as many times as you want. This is subjective. You don't necessarily need 999 collectibles spread through the game or grindy achievements.

i'm getting an earthbound vibe from this, probably 1 or 2 endings at most, but the focus is on the art, story, and gameplay, but ive replayed earthbound more times than i can count on my fingers.

well games like the witcher 3 also a story game but the game still let you play it even after beating it so who said story game couldn't have replay value?
