Dark Souls Twitter just announced, that the RCE for Elden Ring has been worked on and is fixed. And it can be played on all plattforms on release.

my phone broke with the sim chip in it that I need to use to pay for the transaction, and the sim is stuck in that phone... Imagine how unluck I were to be if this happened closer to release date. Good thing I have time to properly fix this and buy the game. Prolly in a week or so.

I knew it and I told you guys, Elden Ring is fine for launch. Now... Dark Souls series on the other hand... Looks bad for the people that wanted to play those.

Aww, I'm glad the RCE is fixed in Elden Ring, but I wish they'd shut the other games down permanently. The entire point of Dark Souls III is to let rotting things die.

Cheating is a community, and by leaving up games where the "endgame" is learning how to use Cheat Engine, they let it fester and then go on to infect other games.

Many of them stay in the previous games because they have all their advanced cheats, while in the new one they have few things at the beginning. So, that at least buys us some time.
Even if the previous games would remain offline it doesn't mean that cheaters wouldn't move to ER, so it's better if they're up and running.

Fantastic news! I only play solo but I’m glad it’ll ship on time and all features enabled for those who enjoy them.

Still no pc requirements though? :/ I am waiting impatiently for news about that eac trash.
