HI There,

unfortunately starting Fall Guys seems to be not working any longer for me. I'm always stuck at the initial startup screen and it will not proceed any further - even after waiting for 30 minutes. Does anyone of you know the trick to solve it or something? :)
Stuff i tried so far:
- verified game files
- reinstalled fall guys
- reinstalled easy anti cheat
- reinstalled DirectX
- reinstalled MS Visual C++
- reinstalled Epic Launcher
- updated all drivers
- launched as an Admin
- cleared cache
- restarted PC
- closed Overlays
- disabled Firewall / Antivirus
- created new account

Did you check the log files? Did you contact Epic Games player support?

HI, yea have contacted them, but unfortunately no reply yet. Regarding log-file, yes i've quickly gone through it, and googled some lines that sounded like errors to me, but couldnt really find something out also :/ but also not sure what exactly to search in the log file :-(

You’ve reinstalled Epic Games Launcher, but what about Epic Online Services.

Try to uninstall Epic Online Services in Control Panel.
After that, verify the game files and launch the game.
Epic Online Services should redownload and reinstall.

yea already uninstalled both programs, unfortunately did not fix it :(

You‘ve tried installing the game to the local C drive instead to your D drive?
Did you reinstall the anti cheat using the setup executable in the EasyAntiCheat folder from the game files?

Might be a stupid question, but do you launch the game from Steam or are you starting the exe file from the game files?

Do you have any other games installed that have another anticheat?

i tried it from game files, from steam and also from epic launcher
regarding Anti-cheat, yea i guess there's CS:GO and some others that probably also have some sort of anti-cheat software

Try checking if the other anti cheats are completely disabled, because some anti cheats are loaded while the game is not being played, which can cause interference with easy anti cheat. Vanguard is known for causing this issue

did you try to launch with another device? got that problem with another game and it fixed it. also you can try to launch it with a virtual machine, it solved the problem for me

i just went through my processes and killed whatever process was running that i could reference to some games, unfortunately also did not do the trick

regarding a different device - i did not try it through a VM, but i can play normally on my Switch with the same Epic Account, just my PC seems to be having the issue

i would recommend you to try on a vm (vmware workstation is a good launcher), might fix the issue if it works on the switch

just struggled my way through all the lag in the VM, but yea, in there it works

nice, also concerning the lags you should edit some settings to get it working better (atleast 8 gigs of memory, i'd recommend to check the virtualization box in settings too)
