I finally found the time to defeat Zeromus and finish off the achievements! I got pretty lucky with drops pre-update and didn't have to wait too long for any drops, less than 300 enemies killed for each. My luckiest drop was bomb which i got in 2 encounters on the moon. I miss the augments that were in the 3d remake. Now that I've completed the first 4 pixel remasters including all achievements there's nothing left to do but wait for 5 to drop.

I actually got the bomb in 2 encounters, just like you. But I paid for it in having to spend hours to get a pink tail.

I didn’t do pink tail until post-patch but it still took 200 some battles.

Bombs felt like forever for me. It was over 1000 iirc but I'm not sure the exact number. After patch though pink tail took me 3 fights so that was a plus, but I'd already done some attempts prior.

I'm waiting to play 5 and just playing other things in the meantime.
