Compared to H1 what's better about his controls and moves?

Was playing hitman 1 but read I could play those maps on this game. But the price,
man. What exactly is improved in hitman 3? More complex / simple? More intuitive?

In a nutshell, Hitman 2 improved a lot of the game mechanics for Hitman 1 locations. When I say a lot I mean much better gameplay experience. In Hitman 3 these improvements have been carried over and a new overall optimisation of the game, plus some different lighting (for better or worst).

As for H3 price, it's a purchase on sale considering that you're getting all the three games in one package. So it's a big game with a very big modality of plays, like spending 30h+ for each locations if you're the kind of player that wants replay with all the game challenges.

Don't leave out the fact that to unlock the last 2 levels of Hitman 2, New York and Haven Island, you have to manually purchase the $10 Hitman 2 - Expansion Pack DLC as well to play them normally outside of Freelancer. Most people don't notice that because most people buy this one for Freelancer and that's it.

To be frank there's so much content in the game that 2 more locations aren't going to make any difference.

in Hitman 2, they made the following changes:

  • They added briefcases in your left hand and use as a non lethal melee if your right hand is empty and replaced the agency pickups with military briefcases you can carry around, so you can carry a sniper around that way, and if you start a mission in a suit, can start with a briefcase, allowing you to start carrying a sniper rifle.
  • They actually fixed the subdue around a corner (in 2016 you could subdue around a corner, but an enforcer could compromise you immediately, in hitman 2, they fixed it by temporarily removing the enforcer status from the person you are subduing, allowing you to stay uncompromised, as long as no one else saw you)
  • they added the ability to blend into crowds and hide in tall grass, both showing a circle around you. That circle showed how close an npc had to be to see you.
  • mirrors actually worked (npcs could see you knock em out/kill em if you were standing behind them when you did the deed, or just standing behind an enforcer facing the mirror, in 2016, it didn't do that)
  • added the Seiker1 emetic dart gun and Kalmer1 tranquilizer dart gun
  • allowed you to not break silent assassin if anyone was found asleep via poison or accidental KO (had a bug, was fixed in hitman 3, will elaborate in that section)
  • changed the fire extinguisher from accidental explosive to accidental concussion
In Hitman 3 (aka World of Assassination) they made some more changes:
  • detection rate actually is determined if you are in a legal area, trespassing area or hostile area. Previously, it was always the same speed (or be close enough to not matter)
  • you get to carry a camera around, and use it to hack stuff.
  • targets found asleep via any means now break SA (there was a bug in Hitman 2 that allowed you to get SA by using a tranquilizer dart on the target, and shooting the target with a bullet during the poison animation would result in a death that didn't break SA when the body was found)
  • As of the May 11th 2023 patch, you can now destroy surveillance cameras with bullets and thrown objects that lock on to people's heads.

I can't remember any other changes.
