Anti Virus program flagged file as potential threat
My antivirus program has flagged house flipper (and Power wash simulator) files as potential threats. The file in question is called IDP.Generic which, according to a google search, could be a password stealing, trojan, maleware type file. Anyone else getting this? I am using AVG currently.

From my understanding, anti-virus programs sometimes give false positives with games. Many people have purchased both games that you listed (including me) and have had no issues with the game in regards to viruses of any sort. The "could be" answer that you received from Google sounds like a very generic answer since "could be" also means "could not be" in this instance. I would say that the chances are pretty high hat you are getting a false positive result with AVG.

Provided you have a legitimate copy of the game, there should be no cause for concern.

Someone from different game forum mentioned it's somehow connected with updating game code and House flipper was updated recently. Even if it's false positive it still makes me anxious.

Your wasting your money. Windows 10 and 11 already have an antivirus, anti malware, anti ransomware built into the operating system. Third party antivirus programs are also resource Hogs.
