Sooo I have tried everything from reinstalling steam to every game in my folder and spent hours trying to fix what YOU DEVS broke now you go silent and no help or advice what so ever so thanks for the money and time I wasted on your game because I STILL CANNOT PLAY IT!!! I tried repairing files I tried verifying files I tried everything and still I have that disc write error that you guys caused and now am stuck on an update that won't update so thanks just thanks for no help thanks for no advice and thanks for an update that is neither use or ornament to me because I can't play my game

Disc right error is a local issue , devs can not create such error in your game , maybe you are missing some administrator permissions that not let write on discs .

try google it , maybe it helps you to fix the issue , because i have no issues with my game here

it's not a local issue when this is happening, out of nowhere, to multiple people at the same moment. Played the game just fine a day ago and now having the same issue.

The disk write error can happen when:
The drive or Steam folder is write-protected. There are defects in the hard drive.
Your antivirus or firewall blocks Steam from downloading and saving data.

It's a local issue , happening to several people means nothing , you can have that error at any time due to many things , even not playing games , how many are the many people that this is happening ? You can fault game for it , it could be due a windows update , that can justify the many people you talk about .

Want to mention another thing , i see many people using windows 11 now , note that not all programs will run on it correctly as they run on windows 10 .

I removed a folder from the steam 0.KB but it stopped working again and back at square one am getting sick of it

had to uninstall and reinstall my anti virus I never in my life had to do this before

ok so something in this new update my avg flagged as malware and removed a file without my knowledge uninstalling and reinstalling AVG has put this issue right and now it showed it was flagging a file in house flipper so I told it no, check your quarantine files in your anti virus for those with disk write error since doing this with mine I've rebooted and the issue is fixed am now able to play without having to disable my anti virus software
It's never happened before and cannot understand how it's only this game and none of my other games on steam but definitely this update has caused issues all sorted now and hopefully anyone still having issues this may help too

I knew something bad was making the issue on your computer , avg is not an anti-virus , avg is a virus , lol

If you're using Windows 10 or 11 you don't need any of these third party anti-virus programs. You're just throwing you money down the drain. I only use the built in Windows Defender and have Never had any virus, malware or ransomware on either of my computers.
