What Would You Add or Change to Improve the Game?

What would you add or change to improve the game? I would:

1) Add the ability to name your business and build it up. Comments and ratings added after selling your house.

2.) Remove and Add outside walls and windows.

3.) Design Blueprints and use them to design and build houses.

4.) Add neighbors across the street so it doesn't look so lonely.

the more i play this game the one major thing the biggest and most wishlist item i have everytime i restart a new game is budget related...

i honestly wished the game was extremely difficult to obtain money in, far more complex, and much more indepth from a business perspective, in what 3jobs you can have a house purchased, with a surplus budget enough to sell that house with a 20K+ profit and never have to look back ever again

the only other thing that ever bothers me is how fast i turn the prep stages of a house around, it always seems to fast and out of balance, you spend far more time putting in furniture than anything else, and i often also wished it took much longer to prep and clean them, making flooded house my fav for this reason

1) Celing light grid lines So you can line up the lights correctly

2) Ability to Move windows and doors

3) Use of a calendar system since we have day and night cycles. Like PC sim builder we have a calendar. Why?

4) The houses are too easy to flip here is a WHOLE new challenge mode idea. Bidders give you a deadline and a budget, let's say Trusk is interested but only if it gets done in 3 weeks (in game time). What makes that challenging?

5) like pc sim the game now takes time to deliver furniture etc. It may come delayed, broke, wrong olor. Real life issues a flipper faces. Now you have to manage your budget, manage your time for deliveries, and work time.

6) introduction to catastrophic random events. Let's be real once your rich its too easy to stay rich. Buying a house should have an option for a home inspection, you can choose to purchase this or not BEFORE you buy. Home inspectors catch big issues like plumbing, electrical systems, structure failure, water damage, mold, etc. An investment in to a house that has one of these hidden in real life is a HUGE hit to your profit. The Home inspection gives you a checklist of the state of the house, if you refuse the inspection you gamble buying a crap house riddled with issues.

7) accomplishing tasks shouls take a chunk of in game time, this way you can't spend infinite time in a house. The timer is ticking and your person has to go to leave the property n go home.

8. BUYERS and auction the whole system needs reworked, it still has no depth and is confusing to what they really want.

9. Last but not least- Jobs allow you to bid an offer along with other people. You don't just get the job, your bid has to fit budget, time, and beat the competitions bids.

So many things can be done to add depth, hope the devs see some of these.

I liked to see the exterior windows/walls in-play, and have a "central" heat/ac system where you can place a furnace inside and a air conditioning unit outside and place "vents" along the walls, I'd love to see some "dummy vehicles" we can place on the driveways!

Some of the items that were in beta but no longer are, restored (half-circle showers, etc).

Colours that the houses come in -- sidings floors, etc, such as the lovely wood seen on some of the house entries, and the light blue sidings--actually available to the player to place, in game.

Finished "sets" for kitchens, etc.

+1 on the ability to remove electrical plugs. They interfere with kitchen bench placements.

+1 on the auctions--mostly to stop a certain family who buy houses despite it having everything they dislike. ;)

But, seriously? Bug fixes first. It's sad to enjoy a game, then have weird bugs pop up aprobos of nothing (not even a teeny patch!) when it worked perfectly okay the day before. Even after verifying files and doing all the "usual" things to sort stuff out.

+1 on outlets

+1 on finished cabinet sets. perhaps some mix and match is ok but the color pallets are not usually the same

1) to be able to put bark or gravel etc between the stepping stones, fully around trees up to the trunks would be more realistic. maybe a collision thing?

2) Be able to change out windows to maybe bay windows garden windows etc

3) Since we can add walls it would be nice to add them to the outside to expand perhaps, if its even possible not sure. for ex. the large garden plot with the little one room shack. the value would have been a lot higher but its pretty hard to add the basic bathroom and fit in furniture in a single room so adding rooms on would be good.

4) more appliance options like different shower styles, ovens, stoves and for sure add corner upper cabinets

5) roofing styles and more siding options

6) and +1 to a grid snapping system or even more choices in stone paver lengths. i have noticed a lot of gaps for example running stone pavers from the front of the house to the fence theres a gap because there is no option for diff. lengths. same with sod. maybe an option to increase/decrease items length and width with mouse wheel or something.

7) on good note i am pretty happy with the plant and tree options, i really like the way you dig and plant them.

>>> Gallery customization <<<

I was sure many people would also want this, but it seems it's only me and maybe a few.

Of course I would like some other features:
- Paint fences
- Show / hide grid
- Creative mode (not building houses, but create and share "jobs" for the current houses).
- Etc.

But I don't know how can I expect more sustancial additions if they ignore simple requests like that one.

Well for one the Garden DLC should be free seeing there is very little base content to this game and myself and others lost interest in the game after about 40 hours of play time due to lack of content. Now we are all suppose to pay for DLC because the game was released way to early with very little content. Not going to allow myself to be spoon feed snail paced DLC due to a lack of content and spend my money on content that should be part of the game. The progress of this game is pathetic and it needs a new developing team, it's going nowhere.

Some of the things mentioned already, but here's my two cents....

Basically, love the game, as is, even with a few little bugs that hopefully they are fixing!

Different colors for siding.
Different colors for window blinds.
More colors for fitted carpets
Upper cupboards that go with the lower. (some are already in the game, but are inaccessible.)
Wood types/colors that actually match others of same name.
More the ONE type of shower...geesh!
MORE houses to flip! Even if it has to be added with a DLC.
A lawn mower - mowing a whole lawn with weed eater?? Gimme a break! I am getting a blister on my pinky from holding the mouse. ( I know..drop the mouse..back away from the keyboard...)

Last but not least...ability to actually kill the damned mole! (Hitting it over the head with the shovel doesn't seem to affect it.....) :P

All of this is a great idea and is stuff that should have been addressed 10 + months ago when people expressed their concerns and ideas. Unfortunately things like updating the building features you mentioned will never be done due to it being part of the base game and they can't add it as DLC because it is stuff that should have been part of the base game, there is no money in doing it so it will never happen. All the things you mention has been discussed over the last year by myself and a multitude of others, reading this reminds me of beating a dead horse. Waiting for things to be fixed and waiting for new content for this game that has next to no content from the start is like watching flies crawl around on the wall. Who would expect a game like this to go anywhere after having to wait 7 + months for the Garden Content only to find out they want you to shell out more money. I mean who develops a game and believes it will attract new customers when it takes 7 + months to release one patch.

Honestly the progress of this game is pathetic, simple basic things that should have been fixed a year ago still persist like plugs and light switches that are down by the floors, windows that are placed in corners where you can't put curtains on them and the list is much longer. I agree with everything you expressed in this post but like I said myself and a multitude of others have suggested all these ideas last year, your just wasting your breath. The developers on this project are clearly not going to do anything to the base game, ideas or fixes and will continue to release new content at a snail pace and then expect you to pay for it. What they should be doing is getting off their a$$ fixing things with in the base game, polishing it, adding some new free content to attract new customers and also add some new DLC content on a monthly basis.

I would add more furniture choices and colour choices be able to renovate exterior walls and windows as well as add roofs so you can extend or make a house smaller as you see fit, add a way to remove large and unsightly trees and put paths to the edge of the property and right up to gates, also to be able to replace perimeter fencing and more choices in decorative areas

There is only a few fences and only one gate.
I would add hedges for gardens plots instead of just stones and paths more gates needed for the current fences.
Different types of hedges of different types of plants. Use the trimmer to trim them too.

- Personal Inventory
It would be awesome, if we buy one Aluminium ladder and keep it in our personal inventory.

- Open World
Yeah I know, maybe it doesn't fit in a game like that but I would love to drive from my office to the customer, from the customer to my new house.

- Roleplay
Let us use the bed to skip the night, the shower to get clean, the toilet to.... you know :P

- Minigames
Like Flipper, Pool etc

- Mix your own color
It would be awesome if we could buy a tool that lets us mix our own color.

- Paintable ceilings
It's always white. I would love to paint it!

- Workshop Support
Yep! For new funiture, wallpapers.

I would like to see the base game debugged and more options for interior design. Carpets/tiles/curtains/furniture/lighting. etc... If nothing else, open it up to modding. Once this is done I will considering playing again and possibly purchasing garden update. Until then I check back every few months to check progress.
