I installed the luxury DLC and started a new game even, but I don't see a yacht nor is there an furniture restoration I can find. Any suggestions how to fix it?

The map is large - not everything fits on one screen. There should be little blue arrows on the edge of the screen. Scroll in that direction and look for buildings with a white outline. There should be 1 or 2. Once you do those, more will unlock

As for the furniture restoration: It is only in the Luxury DLC jobs. You can't renew furniture in property you buy.
