Every mission is exactly the same with exceptions of location.

I beat most missions under level 5 because I keep restarting characters due to not being able to reset our tech points.
As a result I realised there is no real challenge to this game unless they spawn tons of animals on top of you just before you level or as you make progression in a mission.
Even then I just run from them and go back when they calm down. Mission accomplished.

Every mission is, go here, collect something we should have given you in your drop pod but we didnt, now back track and use the item while we spawn animals on you. Thats it, every mission...
So F'ing boring...

Devs care so much about adding more content that they avoid fixing bugs. What content, I havent seen anything else in missions other then the concepts of the very first mission.
Wheres your creativity? The game looks pretty but its not much more than an empty moving picture.

Ditto, its a whole lot of nothing this game.

I tried all mission as I was hoping there might be a few good ones. But I am guessing they are saving the fun ones for the DLC.

With the number of players dropped from 52k to 8.5k, not sure they will have got enough money from sales to cover costs. So it might be just a release, take the cash and run game.

It sounds like you just need to play a different game. Try The Long Dark, or Green Hell. Personally, I see video games as art. Some art I can appreciate, some just doesn't appeal. I don't proceed to tell the artist that it sucks, I just move on. Icarus is very intentional about what it is. It's not perfect (nothing truly is), but I find it to be enjoyable.

Trolls, please explain how being annoyed at the operation they are running and being mis-sold a product for real money is trolling?

You claim to be all for constructive criticism, ok here is some for you along with some FACTS (And a few opinions at the bottom)

They said this game would have aliens in it and vehicles/buggies to travel around in, a working space station and plenty of other "cool" things, they even made videos showcasing it................ yet none of that is in this game they claim is finished and ready for sale, however what you can do is pay almost triple the advertised game price and hopefully at some point in the future they will let you have the game they sold you, however it will have cost you just under £60 (That is if they do not hike the prices) and not what appears to be a low price which they are currently charging, oh and hopefully by the time they get around to actually adding that content they will also have fixed the extensive and quite frankly embarrassing amount of bugs that have been reported and experienced, most of which are common and to date have had nothing done to them.

Hopefully in the future they will also have fixed/balanced what the majority of players/purchasers (Going by the forums and bug reports) want which is a respec option as they DID NOT at any point even on the store page let people know they had added a point cap only on the talents and not on blueprints (Who would know?)

Placeholders for future content (Coming soon) in a finished 1.0 supposedly stable game? is that also the norm?

Hopefully they will also make future decisions in a different way to what currently appears to have involved the flipping of a coin.

The common theme here is "Hopefully" what a sham shame.

Indeed it is a form of art but it is also sold as mis-lead entertainment and for that it deserves to be critiqued.
I was enjoying it for a while until I noticed it is a cut and paste game. I did have fun killing the bosses. They were the only thing different from the other quests but theres only a few of them.
Never tried Green Hell looked like crap, if its good Ill check it out.
I played the Long Dark when it was beta, forgot all about it, I enjoyed that. Might check it out again too

The viewpoint that hours played = level of enjoyment has been proven to be false time and time again. Sometimes people play and play hoping it will get better and it never does. While I do not agree the game is boring and I enjoy it for the most part I still find this kind of argument appalling when it has been debunked about a million times. Stop gas lighting people and trying to make it look like they are lying or somehow their reality is off b/c it isn't. So let me explain it in simple terms. Time spent in game has NOTHING to do with overall enjoyment of a game.

If someone does not enjoy the game that is fine it does not change my enjoyment of it. So to those people I say play something else. There are thousands of games on Steam to play and many you will enjoy and I hope you find one you can. Games are art. Subjective. You will like some others hate and vice versa. That is the beauty of video games. There is a game type and genre out there for everyone.
