- Adding Fix for p2p and dedicated server multiplayer where a crash could occur while updating Steam presence
- Adding a fix which fixes the backpack slot UI not updating correctly, making it seem like players where losing backpacks

The hell is going on? We've been playing with a friend like 15 minutes ago. My game crashed, so I restarted, lo and behold, update incoming. Ok, I let it update the game and now my game version is actually OLDER than my friend's who's still playing.

Is this hotfix a rollback compared to the previous one?

If you restart steam it will trigger an update

It is not a rollback, I'm not sure how your version is older?
If you and your friend check the versions at the top of the application when you log in and you can compare to the versions below

Just wanted to say I can't wait for the big update next week! You guys are killing it!

The only personal wishlist I'd love to see is a big optimization update for DX12. Since launch it really hasn't gotten better and I desperately want to use Ray Tracing because the game looks amazing with it on, but suffers from bad performance when it's enabled.

in game chat broken hard to explain but just start typing and look at the cursor. Then when you send you can't even see it till another message is sent.

No idea either, but that's what the game said when I tried to join his prospect - large letters mid-screen saying my client is older than the host's, I should update, etc.

Anyway, thanks for explaining - apparently after leaving the game Steam pushed the hotfix for him too, now we're both at the hotfix version. Sadly we forgot to check on what version he was before the hotfix. Maybe Steam messed up something, not sure...

After this update (or maybe the previous one, not the hotfix) I can't pick up dead animals to carry to the skinning bench. Tried with several ones like pumas and scorpions after just killing them, and nothing.

Was having issues with dedicated server being broken yesterday, whatever this fix did, it's working again no problem.

Is it working since the hotfix? I jumped in and it seems to be fine my side, if it isn’t working for you let me know and I’ll make sure it’s addressed.
