Original or legendary

Which one is better for a 100% newcomer? While I would like to have a better graphics and gameplay improvements (especially no stupid shaking with sniper rifles), I've heard a lot of complains that atmosphere in remastered is f*cked, and I definitely can understand it since I'm one of those weirdos who can't play most wanted 2005 without yellow filter

mmm... I like the legendary more. Everything is bundled, optimized a bit better, QoL changes fixed some annoying little things. I've only played through ME1 and ME2 so far but I liked it a lot. I guess if you really want ME1 to feel like it was a 2005 first attempt at a sci-fi game with all the ... charms that comes with, you could just buy the old versions.

I have no clue what anyone is talking about with the atmosphere part.. It looked the exact same (minus the better graphics) from when I originally played those games.... Get the Legendary edition, its worth it alone due to the massive amount of DLC ME2 and ME3 have.

"Atmosphere is ♥♥♥♥♥♥" Lol... one skybox in the first mission in ME1 is slightly brighter so it's more lore-friendly to the location. The atmosphere is still there, better than ever, actually. Instead of the whole sky being red, it's redder towards the horizon where the fight takes place, and brighter/clearer on the other side where it's calmer. People are dumb and want to crap on everything. There's no reason to buy original trilogy anymore. Legendary Edition is where the modding scene is shifting, as well.
