Hey, everyone!

There have been a lot of discussions in this forum already, which is awesome, but I think we can all agree that some of them are starting to cross the line. You're absolutely entitled to your opinions and we respect that, but if things start going too far (and especially if posts start breaking Steam's ToS), either we, our community moderators, or Steam's admins are required to take action, the latter of whom have already been taking action against violations.

Let's keep things civil and respectful, especially to each other.

As for game prices can you be realistic with them?
You realize games from the 90s were $50 to $60 right? Back when the US dollar was stronger and could afford more things... game prices haven't changed but production of video games have more than tripled. Quake and Half-Life 1 didn't cost a few million to make and sold for $60, now you have games like Witcher 3 or Mass Effect 3 which take millions and millions to make and are sold at the same $60....

PS: you ain't getting a special discount coupon, no matter how much you pander to them. Keep trying though, it's amusing.

Why would I want a discount? Lol. Some of us earn more than 100K a year.... go check my artwork where it shows how much I spent on steam :P

Ya but be nice if it was not a clear trick to some and still semi-gross.

A few have pointed out they/you all(since you said we) really should change the name of it to Fan Pack or something like that to be what you all claim instead of easily misinterpreted ___edition that often (think entirely so back then when was not so greed filled common) had game with it.

Ohh and best tip make sure not to pull a Fellout 76 on the products :D there stuff ya... hope don't need to explain / remind about any of them and how that be the worst thing.

Can I just say this... hopefully I won't get any flack for this but... for the N7 Helmet alone it's worth the $150 in my opinion. The fact that's it's wearable and not just some prop, and it lights up! heck yea!

This is why got it. If I get some N7 armor, I could be Commander Shepard on Halloween this year.

Also if this pandemic is still going on, I could use the helmet as a face mask.

Well hope it fits you 2 comfortably and all works out and certainty ends up higher quality then Fellout 76's more so if you going to wear it for health reasons.

No one's screaming. No one is name-calling. No one is behaving inappropriately. It is the responsibility of community managers to handle sincere, non-toxic complaints. They are literally EA's channel for interfacing with the community.

Honestly there have been a few choice words stated by some users the past few weeks that sort of shoots that idea down that no one is name-calling and inappropriate behaviour. there has also been a case or two of thread starters screaming in threads with capital letters.

Some users have even created second or third threads on this hub essentially about the same type of subject that has already been discussed so much so it's like white noise.

it would be a lot easier on the moderators and and officers on this hub if users confined their complaints to a mega thread or two about camera adjustments and another about "censorship", that way it is easier to police than hundreds thread across dozens of pages and having to rely on users here to report the offending posts.

But i think under the circumstances, with the amount of users running roughshod over the hub the last few weeks without much in the way of moderation, i'd say that there has been enough freedom of expression and it's time to acknowledge those steam rules again.

To be fair that's just what any Steam forum will become if left to its own device and allowed to be turned into an echo chamber. There is some great forums out there on Steam but the community at large is anything but wholesome.

They can charge whatever they like, vote with your wallet and don't buy it. The censorship alone is reason enough for me not to buy it but there are many reasons.

This is just a suggestion, for those who purchased the Collector's Cache that maybe you can provide a discount on the game via email for a digital code on Steam or Origin. Maybe the game could be 40 or 30 dollars. It might be an incentive to purchase the cache.

Also with pandemic going on. 210 dollars( for both game and cache) for a collectors edition might seem to be a lot right now.
