I've been struggling with the traffic lights and tunnels achievements. I thought it was just because the 'Tunnel Vision' and 'Hit All the Lights' achievements require such a large number of tunnels/lights, but today I did the new Manila City Challenge with infinite bridges and traffic lights, and after putting what felt like a million traffic lights down, the achievements counter didn't add any of them!!! I also suspect that previous runs I have done have not counted towards my total. I'm not sure if this is specifically because of the new City Challange modes, but the daily/weekly challenges usually count towards it, so I'm not sure why these would be any different. Hopefully a bug that can be fixed!

As a side-note to anyone who might be struggling with the same issue on steam, sometimes if you close down steam and restart it, only then will it update the numbers to show any changes that occurred from the last run. It's a bit annoying, but at least it is recording them. I'm only posting this now because I tried this twice and the numbers still didn't change this time...

It seems like tunnels/traffic lights and so on only count in the basic game mode without modifiers. I guess it kinda makes sense otherwise you could just spam tunnels in Zürich since there is now an unlimited tunnel challenge.

I just checked again. So in the new challenge mode tunnels etc. are tracked as long as they are not unlimited available in the challegene you are playing.

Thanks for the heads up! The problem is I think even in other games modes that didn't have infinite tunnels/traffic lights it still wasn't properly counting them.. It is a bit difficult to tell given it doesn't always update the numbers (also mentioned in my post).
It would be helpful if they could distinguish which types of game modes will allow you to unlock the achievements. It seems the distinction is not always clear for each of the challenges... For example, it's really difficult to achieve 'mom's spaghetti' without modifiers on the game mode unless you are good enough and lucky enough to get all 9 motorways in the regular mode!
