January 28, 2022 @ 11:56:30 am PSTI wouldn't count on steam bringing it back till after the trial is over, the judge already made the preliminary ruling against removing the DCMA takedown, at this point it will require the jury trial to remove it, and who knows maybe even an appeal after that. Barring a settlement agreement, which I am not sure if Angela can afford to negotiate at this time, I could be wrong I have no clue about their finances. But on 31 jan it may come back to steam? no because it would be a jury trial that would take alot of time

Unless its 100% drama free you wont see it back on styeam. But on 31 jan it may come back to steam? no because it would be a jury trial that would take alot of time

Plus it's now selling on their own platform which I would hazard a guess makes them more profit per sale without Steams 30%(?) cut. They are tied to not selling it cheaper than Steam sold it by contract. It's fair to say it might not get the sales it could have gotten now that it is not on Steam though. Might balance out I guess. Maybe.
Must be a comfort for them though now knowing they aren't going to be answerable to any NA court because no NA court can do anything to a Chinese company in China selling via a Chinese operated sales system. Basically they have told the NA court to sod off.
I think it would need to go to court in China to do any real harm to the company but I have less than no idea how the Chinese legal system works. The fact that it has not gone to court in China says quite a lot in and of itself.

This is just how the American news media portrays the Chinese.
