Rollback your brains to when the 2k and EA sports franchises were something to look forward to, not cringe money grabs. The yard and MyCareer experience should be two separate modes. The yard for your more hardcore/competitive, and MyCareer for your Fantasy players. two different creation modes. That will allow you to keep your card packs and VC, but some players will pay box and just make a MyCareer and take an absolute god to retirement.

I mean you could always use synergy2k and do it in MyLeague
