ESO is fundamentally a better game. It has a complete gameplay loop. NW doesn't have that.

ESO is better than NW in every aspect, bar the lootboxes, but those actually do not give you anything useful nor game-changing, stuff you can obtain in-game is better, much better.

Thats the end game(pun?) of NW as well. Thier strategy is to do so slowly to try to hook in as many people as possible. Its the standard from these types.

New World is an empty shell of a game with little to do and yet somehow people even find it interesting to grind the same thing all day long.

ESO has loads of content, so if you haven't played it, it's 1,000 times better than empty NW

While I think ESO isn’t a good mmorpg it’s still a much better game than NW will ever be.

Sadly this is the lone fact... An there is massive amounts of content to keep new players coming in.. I enjoyed ESO.. an the elements of NW that work were amazingly fun.. Its just not enough to call itself a GAME..

Literally every other game mechanic and feature: ESO > New World

I'd have to agree that it is better in a few ways, combat being the most obvious. It's still a grindfest and I find myself often just standing in the middle of town shrugging and saying 'Why am I still doing this?'. But I know the answer, after 500 hours of ESO, I burned myself out and there is nothing else to play right now.

While I don't think I'm ever going back to eso, so far I've had way more fun with that game than nw.
