does anyone else get this message after this update last night??
Please reply asap. I dont think getting rid of cableone would effect it, but, if it did i need help big time with those that know how to fix this.

this is ALL ABOUT NEW WORLD

Ok did all that they asked and i still get this Rebooted computer, validated files, rebooted steam. Now i played this game last night until i saw the update coming for 1am , I m on central time zone. turned off computer. turned computer on 9am or so. this is the error msg i got invalid game executable:C:\steam\steamapps\common\New World\Bin64\NewWorld.exe .. is there anything i missed trying to get this corrected. Besides using steam. lol Can anyone help please. I dont see anything that says reinstall.

Some people have this problem and apparently only those who use Kaspersky. There are several discussions and a post in the New World Forum.

If you disable Kaspersky you can play.

Same here. I even went as far as to reinstall the game and I still get the error.

I also uninstalled Kaspersky and still have the same problem.

I paused Kaspersky, then verified game files through Steam and was able to play.

Even with paused Kaspersky.
Start Error
C:\.....\New World\Bin\NewWorld.exe seams to be invalid.

- Reinstalled
- Repaired Local files
- Removed Cache and repaired local files ...

Nothin works right now. Hope someone will find a soluton on that.

fter uninstalling Kaspersky and validating files , New World gives an unrecoverable error that say "unexpected steam_appid.txt file found

lol "remove your antivirus, leaving the computer open for trojans/viruses and it will be all good!" :P Seriously?

DONT TAKE OFF YOUR ANTIVIRUS SOFTWARE or u install it in legal way xDDDD

when u take off after this your antivirus will nothing do.. because u have it allready in your Computer and your Antivirus will think is ok.. and will nothing do..

I have the same issue, again! It happened to me some months ago, found no way to risolve so after weeks of trying i qiutted to play. After months, so howe, I tryed login and all was fine agian! So I played for some time, until this recently update of the game. If someone fine how to resolve it vould be nice, ( I do not think disable antivirus is o good idea...)

kaspersky have done what is necessary since yesterday, in kaspersky in dubious applications you delete new world.exe, you check your files on steam and you restart the game kaspersky puts new world.exe as a trusted application
