Yep, it seems that victories over weekly spawned demon armies dont count as victories. So my crusaders morale is already on critical levels (-65), even though we conquered half of the map and drove the demons back to their lairs.

Just....what?

It's not really a problem though. If your morale is going down that means you have cleared the map for the act and you got nothing else to conquer. With the army you have, the mobile troops shouldn't pose any threat, even with a low morale.
You can just wrap up and go to act 4.
Don't worry, act 4 doesn't have crusade management and act 5 will start at 0 morale, so the malus will no longer be there.

Yeah, once I finished the ivory sanctum I was at max morale, and while I was waiting for the queen to arrive, I went from +20 to -85...

You should be able to spam one of the army events (e.g. Hunting Down Mutiny) that gives you a bonus to morale.

I did 3 events, however, you lose more morale over a week by having 2 red banners (victories and forts) than you can get back from events and decrees.

If you use the ToyBox mod you can set morale to never drop below whatever level you want and you won't have to deal with that nonsense.

It works for me but I am a couple patches behind the current one (there's been like 3 this month), so I don't know if there is a problem with 2.1.3j but it works with 2.1.2d.

I used it earlier this week - worked fine. However, I couldn't use certain hero skills of my demon with the ToyBox activated, which is why I uninstalled it immediately after use.

But the teleport I used ToyBox for (because a door didn't open) worked fine.

I'm a little confused. How is morale that low..? Did you feed everyone to Vescavors in Leper's Smile/spam end turn for like 4 years without fighting anything?

i was in month 1 of '16 when i finished act 3.

i suspect many folks take a lot longer to do this.
i think i likely finished it earlier than expected, because i had everything done, even the midnight isles and ended up having to spend 3 weeks in crusade mode just "skipping" days waiting for the queen with nothing to do.

i meticulously planned every movement i made on the map to be as efficient as possible, minimizing the number of rests i do, even going far as to push on while exhausted and save scum random encounters, which is just a habit i picked up from kingmaker with their time limit . .given that it took me over 100+ hours just on act 3 alone, while other folks would have been done with the entire game already in the amount of time it took me to beat act 3, i probably spent way too much time IRL trying to save time in game. .

i'm just curious what month and year OP is in, because it makes me wonder, how long does one have to spend in act 3 for their morale to get that low.

i mean, i guess it probably spirals really quick, because the crusade activity, killing enemies only "delays" the morale loss and then as soon as that delay is removed, it just starts dropping with no way to stop it.
i suppose this was the devs way of putting in a time limit without putting in a time limit(?)
