2 Companions died taking Drezen; I kept on playing hoping I would find a diamond for a Raise Dead Spell or maybe a Resurrection scroll. None to be had. Even after defeating the boss in that area, the weapons vendor shows up, but no scroll vendor. This is incredibly frustrating seeing I completed the area, but have no way to finish the dungeons area without my mage and rogue. Even if I could trade out companions, it would be fine.

Please don't respond telling m to git gud or carry scrolls with me, as it's obvious to me now, but not so obvious when you are going in new to the area and it's such a slog to start with. Stuff like this is very disheartening when playing a game.

The vendor that sells rez scrolls and diamonds is located just outside the temple in the south west corner of the map.

This is after taking Drezen. I have to finish the dungeon area first, so the scroll vendor isn't there yet.

Cheese it. Lower difficulty for the dungeon or add scrolls with Toybox.

Definitely a hard save from now, that's sound advice.

make one save file, when you enter new area and before venturing on campaing map, so you dont get gibbed on random encounter, especially one with the dragon

Another poster mentioned Toybox. That is a mod that can allow you to add items like diamonds or raise dead scrolls. To make your life easier, maybe consider a temporary install of that mod to get yourself out of your current predicament. Then, in the future consider regular hard saves. I made at least one per game area.

I’m sorry, that’s not fun. I generally savescum for deaths if its not an end boss or somewhere i know an immediate rez is available after the fight. Long term, at 9th level, you get Raise Dead and will have a pile of diamonds, but in the Drezen level range options are more limited. I do think there should be a scroll somewhere in Drezen; kind of seemed they had a few in reasonable locations through the game and I’m surprised there isn’t one there.
