Look at how many hours i have on this game. I bought this when it first came out. The game is ruined by so many cheaters now, No fun.

I've 100 more hours than you and I can't relate.

Played significantly during early access, after early access, and after F2P. Encountered no more than between a dozen and two dozen cheaters. If the cheater problem was as rife as the community makes it appear then we wouldn't have played the game this much. ;)

Fact of the matter is that loss in BR games generates a lot more anger than other genres, and this community prefers to place the blame on conspiracy theories before accepting they are skrublords.

A couple months back it was tolerable, I had a lot of good games. Recently for whatever reason I'm running into one or more players using map hacks. They don't even try to hide the fact that their looking directly at players from far away through solid objects, it's gotten really bad.

Spend some time in the replays and watch other players. If you know what you're looking for, you'll change your opinion. People aren't being specific enough, and players using map/wall hacks isn't as obvious as aim botting. Most players just chain queue up for games, not many are spending time watching other players in replays.

This is a point I made in another thread too - except in my case, having used replays makes me confident that there are so few cheaters. With regard to ESP it can be a little tricky to discern what is and isn't indicative of cheating. I do notice, though, very few of my reports and my friends' of suspected ESP cheaters end up notifying me of a ban, so I take that to assume it isn't too great an issue - the report reviewers would be able to have a greater view of the suspect's activity.

Also, do keep in mind that ESP hacks can be confused for teammate voice communication, a replay without considering that would look very fishy indeed.

Yeah when I paid for the game when it first came out my phone number wasn't required. And if it was I never would have bothered, I'm certainly not giving that information now.

Solo games, TPP or FPP, get a free pass on cheaters? What's you logic there? Let me guess, "oh yeah there's lots of cheaters playing that mode so just play ranked or non-solo games". That doesn't address the problem at all. Thanks for your input though.

You own this game since 2017 and you don't know about the problem that was mainly related to TPP? I can't talk about this in detail but FPP has in fact fewer high ping players because they never played other shooters before so they aren't familiar with it.

Before autumn 2017 we haven't had the same cheating problem just the regular one all games had at that time. I do pretty much have the same experience today but Solo and ranked, high ranks, still have a bigger problem than my mode Squad FPP which is the most played mode of all.

What makes Solo so special?

A lot of cheaters don't have friends because many times, the next ban isn't far away and many do lack of social skills anyway. The whole community of cheaters is super toxic which isn't surprisingly if you think about it detail. If they have teammates, they also need to take much more care to hide their cheats because they can get spectated etc.

This statement might be 100% true in Duo or squad matches but for Solo matches it's inapplicable.

Not if you have over three decades of software experience and have worked in game development for the majority of that time.

That's with the assumption that your reports ever make it to the point where an actual person reviews the report. Also, again, Duo or squad games then probably true, not the case for Solo.

I'm fairly certain that I'm not confusing teammate voice communication for ESP hacks in Solo matches. That is, unless they're co-op teaming in solo, which I 100% witnessed in a replay last week - I do however very rarely see this happen in Solo's, but that's a separate issue.

It is one decent source and if you know something about this case and humans, you know what he said is true. Do you think cheaters do get friends just to remove them later once they got caught?

In my whole time of shooters, I have had 2 players I played with who unfriended me after they got caught without telling me so, obviously. Btw, I don't think it is my fault if others do cheat so you might step a bit back, thank you.
