Poor man's Rogue spear

Weak sauce. The movement physics are clunky and the controls sluggish. I mean run feels like walk.

There's so many things wrong it just puts me right off which is a shame because I love these types of games.

I won't mention the AI but sadly, the whole system feels like it forces you to play slow but at the same time the controls and movements just don't compliment what's happening.

4/10

It's really suppose to be like more like SWAT 3 and 4 rather than Rogue Spear. I mean I agree with some of the things you're saying, but it still is an early access game. I've enjoyed most of what I played so far with a few complaints.

The biggest mistake is UE4. Its a trash engine that requires a space computer. There is a large userbase that avoids any UE4 game, because the performance doesn't justify a large amount of medicore games. I wish more games who don't have a inhouse engine, used unity instead.

Basically to many ♥♥♥♥ or average games that require a HIGH end computer to be remotely enjoyable.

umm what i'm playing the game on a 1050 TI laptop. A few crashes here and there, but it does run.

it's a different type of game. this one is more methodical and the encounters are deadlier. i'd say it's closer to the first r6 than rogue spear. ai imo is actually better than most of the game in the genre (e.g. ground branch). it's definitely not perfect and the 120 supporter edition is kinda bs, but as far as current hardcore tactical shooters go, I'd say this show the most promise

Complete nonsense, stick to cod if you don't like the movement.

I don't think wanting the movement to be faster means you want it to be like COD. I mean even in the old R6 games and SWAT games you moved faster than you do in RON. Granted though I wouldn't be upset if they don't change the movement as I think there are more important problems RON has like the AI.

still a better engine then unity trash engine, but yeah inhouse engines built from the ground up are always gonna be better, but you gotta remember the devs arent triple a so they dont have the money needed to make their own resources for an engine.

no one avoids ue4 games unless its fortnite or any playdough looking ue4 game.

Game is liked by many. But not every game is for every gamer.

There should be some type of sprint even if it's a short burst because if you're getting shot at outside on the docks or something you have to basically walk to cover which is really dumb.

Other than that I love the movement and feel.

Unity is garbage, Sandstorm is on UE4 and it is great. A laptop with i5-11400h, RTX3060 16GB RAM costs little over 1000 bucks, basically like a new phone, I don't see here a problem in buying one.

You are using a 20 year old game for reference?
Bruh. The 90's are over, maybe get over it.

UE4 is one of the best engines on the merket rn, no idea what OP and some others have issues with.

OP sounds like a little boi that is upset he can't "slide" and "run" like in CoD or BF, but I am glad ppl like him will either refund or never play this game again, so it stays unique.

Play "Zero Hour", this game is better suited for you....
