Custom Card Decks?

So I unlocked basically everything but now I'm facing the problem that triple defence is literally impossible since I draw so many useless cards and can't get the ones I need. I'm certainly not resetting everything and start from zero everytime I want to play a different build. Is there a way to choose the cards you want in your deck?

Yeah, I'm hoping they add that as a feature, though some of the players are very opposed to it.

There has to be a better way... I don't hate the idea of resetting, but then there's "must haves" that make the game literally impossible without unlocking stuff. Since there's no point to XP after unlocking everything, I'd think paying the same cost to relock and re-unlock cards would be fair, bare minimum.

The other idea I had was forcing players to have a minimum deck size like in loop hero. Either way, there's an infinite number of ways to go about it, but I'll agree that the current system is painful.

I will note that you can always reset, and then set your xp to 100k through regedit (Since the game saves to the registry, it's really easy) and then buy whatever you want, and build "decks" that way.

But yeah, I'd like it if they just added a deck function to the game.

Oh it'd be sooo good... I'm in the process of going for the ballista + single tower achievements and it's friggin' annoying to have to edit the registry every time I want to tweak the "deck". Also - the meta progression as it stands now is just glorified deck bloating mechanic.

I think you should be able to spend XP to make regular cards permanent. As it is, 45 turns is just not enough to draw a decent deck in double path, except by chance, and this means a lot of rounds that fail before anything interesting really happens.

It's enough time to draw a good deck, but you have to limit yourself to no more than 3-4 tower types.

I think a 'good deck' has to include key DoT cards, and it takes a lot of cards to unlock the draw every second turn and draw every turn cards- without which there is definitely not a chance of drawing a good deck in 44 turns. So, you're going to end up with garbage you don't want, and the strategies for minimizing it are not what they could be.

One approach would be to significantly reduce the number of cards you have to unlock to get the draw every turn card. That would also make the early game a lot more bearable to repeat every time you want to reset XP and build a new deck.

TBH the DoT cards aren't really needed at all. It's more important to have DoT stacks on enemies to prevent regeneration than for doing actual damage IMO.

I find that if you manage to get a good combination of DoT cards, they do a lot of very useful actual damage, Poison towers in particular give a tremendous amount of poisoning- plenty to get all the way across the map with very tough enemies, and the ability to speed up the poisoning makes them significantly more effective, with the right stacking. The only towers I've used where the poison or burn runs out quickly are ballistas.

Considering DoT did like 45% of all my damage on my ballista only run, I think you are underestimating DoT...
