I have a 3600x, 2070 super founders edition, 32 gb ram (2x16 3200mhz cl18), and a 1080p 75hz monitor for some reason I was looking forward to this and finally got it and siberian mayhem.


However even on completely maxed settings there's a weird pixelated/murkyness/jaggedness to this game that wasn't there with SS3. SS3 looked much better shadow wise texture wise etc. So I don't know what is going on

Greets. Use Fidelity FX option,helps improve clarity and detail. Using SSA x4 will drastically improve visual quality, but it will make that 2070 cough.

Actually the jagged edges don't really bother me too much I leave AA off at the time. But the jagged edges in this game are something else.

Maybe my monitor is going bad? I don't know. But yeah is there any fixes/mods/workshop content that can help with this as well?

Looked up pcgamingwiki didn't really help much either.

Are you sure it's "completely maxed out"? Putting on Ultra doesn't max out the game. If you go into customise, you will still find several settings that can be pushed further past Ultra preset, including AA and Supersampling, which are options that will eliminate all jags you may be seeing.

Is it like this in SM too? I heard that while its still unoptimized for some, there are some better effects than main 4.

I have everything maxed out except mpix which is at 1080p/2. All AA is turned off, everything else is maxed out though.

I can understand the jaggies but the image quality is still blurry, pixelated, etc. Even older games from like 10 to 15 years ago at 1080p max settings no AA look much crisper. I'm just confused.

Could be my monitor though as well.
