I see many bad reviews on Sam 4 but honestly it’s my favorite game . I’ve played every one since they came out. The humor is hilarious and I love the side quests . Performance wise I have no complaints .

Its alright but nothing special. SS back in the day was a MASTERPIECE.

Despite SS4 having some downsides, it's still a fantastic SS game at it's core. The Reworked mod shows a lot of promise.

ss4 is the worst serious sam game ever made!

Never befor have I been so out of ammo or life. Or small spaces been shot by in every direction not been able to react. Other serious sam games had enemies coming from all directions but this one is done differently!

I liked everything about it but the performance is so bad I couldn't finish it. The framerate fluctuated wildly from below 30 to over 140 depending on the area. That's just not acceptable to me

Serious Sam Next Encounter... Don't know why. Maybe nostalgia.

Mirrors my sentiment, but I think a large reason for that is because it's simply not a new kind of gameplay at this point. But this gameplay is exactly why I bought it.

I agree, this is my favorite Sam game to date. The newest game is pretty fun but I am not finished with it so I can't say if I like it more just yet. The maps seem a bit underutilized in the new one.
