I am already at the almost-easiest difficulty (btw I just finished Doom Eternal at the almost hardest) and I hardly progress. I have not played this franchise before, and something seems off. The enemies move unrealistically too fast. So do I. I am having a considerably less difficult time when I play 3rd person. Is this game supposed to be played 3rd person ??

Plus, the game is apparently too heavy on my PC. Sometimes it lags which of course gets me killed. I tried to lower the settings, I have not yet figured out how to do it. I could only lower the res, and then the window got smaller. Any advice would be highly appreciated.

I am about here. Can't seem to defeat the bulls.

If you go to that little jump where you start the co op quest the bulls cant reach you. I stand on that and fire away usually.

The place I am talking about is to your right in the picture you posted. Go through the archway right next to you then immediately turn left and there will be a ledge you can jump to. Thats where the bulls spawn.

Greets. You need to learn enemy patterns. All of them have ways they attack and how they approach you etc. You also need to prioritise targets. You can play in 3rd person if you like and find it more manageable. It seems you are playing on ultra settings there. Make sure super sample aliasing is off under gpu performance. As that hits your performance hard.

You are welcome. In main menu, go to options, from there select graphics options, then performance (from this performance menu you can customise cpu performance too) and finally gpu settings. You will have a large menu of graphical options you can tweak to your heart's content to give you optimal performance etc. The super sample aliasing option is the one you should look at. That one is really hard on performance. Once you have adjusted the settings click apply to make your changes. Game might reboot/reload. Sometimes crashes if you are applying the changes in a level you are playing.

You're fine,not bothering at all. No need to stress. That is fine to use the preconfigured settings. As long as you are happy with the performance anything goes really. The preconfigured settings allow you to quickly adjust all the settings, but for a fully customised experience you would need to adjust the full menu of settings to your taste, but if the preconfigured work for you and you don't want to get too technical, then you're all set. I did see something where melee bugged, but never experienced that personally, so I've got no information on that.
