Proposed feature addition: policy

Improve the game experience and playability by adding the "policy" feature. Some examples:

  • Use of child labor: After the policy is enabled, children between the ages of 5 and 18 are not educated and are turned into temporary workers, even after the policy is turned off, they will no longer receive education (equivalent to a flag being enabled for these populations). The number of temporary workers can be increased for a short period of time, but it will reduce happiness and health.
  • Encourage immigration: Spend a certain amount of coins each year to attract immigrants, but may introduce a large-scale plague.
  • Encourage fertility: Spend a certain amount of coins for each new born population each year as a fertility reward to improve the birth rate.

This reminds me of simcity. Its a great idea but I think its too early to implement this, they better focus on the basic gameplay which is still bugged and lots of AI issues (I used to be a programmer and its not easy... but they can *prebuild* these into it and activate it later so they wont have to go through to entire code to insert it again, it will causes more bugs)

I was thinking of this earlier too. I think I'd rather see random 'quests' that might give a few immigrants (say, 5 or 6). Or, maybe a quest to get some material/seed/animal....offer a choice.

Actually, S S already has child labor ... don't build a school and children become laborers.

One of the reasons of population stress is child laborers are less healthy and less happy.

This is already default in the game.

You can stop child labor if you build enough schools for all.
