So I got the tech upgrade that allows you to use paper to upgrade the education bonus and tech exp you get from schools but I have no option to add paper to the schools in the "additions" button? Is it an automatic buff for every school and I don't need to do anything once it's been researched?

It should be automatic

In the school building under enrollment i have a checkmark to let the school use paper or not.
I think its automaticly on once u build the school.I had to put it off some times to save some paper for the new employee addon.
