Bug? Avoid adventure elements
I'm not sure if this counts as a bug or if I've done something wrong here.
I just started playing the game. I'm absolutely not into any horror stuff, and adventure/action I also like to avoid if possible.
When I the Desius/Diana storyline came up, I had three options as a reply. With two, when I hovered over them, the game told me that if I don't like horror/adventure, I should not choose them. I was actually confused a little, because it gave me this warning for the first, accepting, AND the third answer, declining the quest.
Only the Just don't call me partner answer didn't have the warning. The wording of the warning on the other two was exactly the same, I re-read to be sure because it seemed strange that it would be for declining as well.
I assumed that declining would lead to some sort of fight or revenge from Desius so I chose the middle option.
Needless to say, I got the whole horror/combat program, including me screaming when the first zombie attacked me jump scare like after I went through the hole in the floor of the Diana temple.
Would be great if you could check this again, because this was not really fun (though I'm proud to say that I managed nonetheless, the whole palace till the end and the Survivor achievement... After dying some 500 times or so đ
)
I hope I did not miss any post about this, I saw another post asking about jump scares and horror stuff, but it didn't fit my issue.
Otherwise very intriguing game, I couldn't stop playing, even though I don't really have the time đ

The warning given in the game won't railroad you out of doing this quest (you could go back to him later and ask again). It's main purpose is to say that the quest is optional, you can still get all the endings without completing it.
Glad you enjoyed the game!
