I think its a pretty major oversight that there is seemingly no way to renter the palace after your first visit. The election started as I was shooting the wasp nest on my very first day ever . so I had no idea what was going on. I knew the rule was broken but i had never gone back so i booked it through the palace. I could barely hear the journal entry dialog, I had just got the bow so I was very low on arrows to the point of almost soft-locking later on because I couldn't descend the bushes you have to gild. I completely missed the conversation with the important NPC there because she was immediately turned to gold because the rule was broken the whole time I was there. I couldn't find another way to learn how to cure rheumatism and I was very confused about the special statue dialogue you get because I didn't have the context from the NPC conversation. I was getting so stuck I eventually learned on a form about the ghost command and just went all the way through it again which worked, so then why can we not just get access again normally? the game's script can handle a return you just cant physically access it without cheating, so just let us go back! This was early on and it very nearly made me walk out, and I'm still pretty mad about it on principle but I made it through and did have a very good time. I just really hope this stupid decision gets fixed or if i missed something I hope it gets made far more obvious. the whole of the internet couldn't provide a good solution that wasn't "cheat" so something is wrong here regardless.
