Amost out of space food where do you get more have looted the chests 4 of them scattered around where do you find more ?

I see this as an issue early game. Some people want to mess around with building and stuff and so don't go exploring/looting early enough to get food. We've seen a number of people complaining about running out of food before they even find seeds, let alone unlocking the t1 food grower.

I think the starting chest should include a single food seed and the food grower unlocked a little sooner. It might be wasted for people who go exploring/looting early and get a bunch of space food, but for those that want to mess around building a base before exploring, they need something to help get them by.

I was worried about the same thing, but if you explore and find some wrecks, food packets will come with them. I had several extra and then unlocked the food grower, prioritize those and then you have self sustaining food. I built 5 and it's more than enough, for now.

you can find food in the crashed ships, I make small bases that let me refill my o2 along the path to the ships and then loot them. I am playing on "Standard" and I have found enough food in the ships to last awhile other difficulty levels might give different amounts of food in the ships, but that is still where I would look.

This is my starting issue with the game. Im rushing to unlock farms because of this. O2 and water is easy to find and craft. Food you can only find as loot.

A food grower will help. If you have seeds you can grow and not depend on any space food.
