when you hit launch and try to get on to the top of the rocket the rocket turns to the ground and after about 15 sec goes away.

Why is that a bug? Are you supposed to be hopping onto the top of a rocket as it launches? The bug is that you don't instantly die. Anyway, it has been described ad nauseum since the game launched complete with videos.

Bumping into the rocket in any way changes its trajectory.

Create and launch three rockets one after the other as fast as you can for awesome results.

Or even just having a larva spawn onto the rocket between building and launching can throw it off. Then you have to collect a larva that's floating in mid-air.
