5 years in development and this isn't even close to stronghold or settlers 4. It's actually disgusting how little progress there is. No animations. Bad graphics. Boring Progression.

I find the game relaxing. Great Map editor, could use more depth but still for the money it's worth it.

What kind of graphics are you looking for in a GAME >? If you want realism you need to look somewhere else other then GAMES>. We use games to relax and kill time, not to be engulfed in realism. That's when it no longer becomes a game.

The graphics are way worse than some of the games from 20 years ago. Like I said this is just sad. People are so thirsty for a beaver game they'll accept anything. Even a high school project.

Guess some people just come to ♥♥♥♥♥ about games they barely play.

game is in a bit of a weird spot imo.

nothing wrong with a casual "just watch the beavers do their thing" game, but the amount of player input required is just too low for it to be a game. certainly compared to how long stuff takes to happen.

but then the player input that is required is often not the fun kind. like turning pumps on/off or micromanaging which buildings are being worked or trying to find a specific warehouse in a vertical stack isn't the kind of thing you wanna be doing in a "just watch the beavers" game.

difficulty is also still only tied to water management which is just too easy to solve, but the needs system is a bit better after the reworks.

it just doesn't quite "click" as a game, too much time can be spend AFK.
(but maybe i'm just doing it wrong playing on very small maps.)

game looks like it's feature complete now too considering they are shifting towards differentiating the factions now.

Graphics are fine for what this game is and I have an appreciation for graphics having a 4090. Had a blast with this game.

What do you mean by "no animations"?

They are not woodcutters tho, they use their teeth and there is an animation, tho maybe not up to your standards.

It's not like this game needs those detailed animation when most of the time you play with zoomed out camera(as you usually do in those types of games)

You do realise beaver don't actually eat the trees right? They cut the tress down, hence wood cutting animation. This is the problem with this terrible animation. We end up with ignorant people like you. You mentioned minecraft, are you 12?
