My wife is trying to enter her name to start a game.

She's playing on Handheld Windows gaming device which only has a popup keyboard, there's no physical keyboard on the device.

In Steam it says the game is fully Controller supported.

How does she enter her name without keyboard or mouse?

I'm sorry you've run into this issue! The game supports Steam's virtual keyboard in Big Picture mode, and pressing A on the gamepad will enter a default name and allow the game to continue (it's the only point in the game that requires typing)

Alternatively, manually starting an OS virtual keyboard should also work although this might be an awkward option depending on the device.

We connected a handheld trackball mouse and did it that way.
