Thinking of buying but...
Is there any challenge to it? Can you unpack wrong?
And how long is the game? more or less than 5 hours?

January 26, 2022 @ 3:52:22 pm PSTIt is honestly kind of expensive for how short the game is.... the game is really cute and tells a nice story, but unfortunately I was kind of disappointed when I hit the end out of nowhere. Just food for thought. If there were even plans for more content, it would be worth it. Definitely wait for it to be on sale.

Liberator48 replied to Thinking of buying but... February 1, 2022 @ 9:34:14 pm PSTTook me 5.5 hours, but I wasn't speedrunning. Took my time and enjoyed placing the objects neatly. A bit overpriced game even with the discount I got. But a cute little distraction in between other games.

January 25, 2022 @ 4:23:03 am PSTThink of it like this; soon there´s probably gonna be a game about being a gamer on STEAM, where you can actually get the feel of logging in to an account, downloading games and pretend to playing them. Bugs, life-like support issues and troubles with refunding will be a fair priced DLC...but you won´t be able to actually play the games, just watching your avatar doing it, and level up etc. How great would´nt it be?!

Help replied to Thinking of buying but... January 25, 2022 @ 11:10:57 am PSTThe game silently judges you on your unpacking skills. Denying you the ability to put things in certain places.
Q: Why can’t I open the dishwasher/oven to put my pots and pans in there?
A: Cause you’re a monster, deviant, menace to society… no sane person would do such a thing

Lofwyr replied to Thinking of buying but... January 9, 2022 @ 9:58:50 pm PSTBesides, the other part of the fun is the narrative involved. You can gather so much about the protagonist - not just from what you're unpacking, but what her living spaces look like and how things end up in various places, and how things get foreshadowed just by item placement.

plurpz replied to Thinking of buying but... January 6, 2022 @ 9:00:23 pm PSTIt's not terribly challenging to figure out where you can put things, and if you're just putting things away and moving on, it's going to be pretty short. I personally took about 5 hours the first time and now have 23 hours total because I play it with the goal of figuring out both the most practical and the best-looking arrangements of the items. I don't turn the puzzle setting off or ponder the items as such, I just think about what would work/look best for daily life in the space and do things a little differently every time. If you really like organizing stuff, you'll get a lot out of it. It also helps if you don't like your current place and would love to move.

Nefrarya replied to Thinking of buying but... January 5, 2022 @ 1:37:59 am PSTFrom what I saw in the demo, the regular mode has constraints where things can and cannot go. There is also an option in the accessibility settings to turn that off and decorate freely.
As for length, HowLongToBeat lists it with 3.5 - 4 hours on average, but I've seen reviews that went up to 5 or 6. Seems to depend on how long you enjoy pondering the items and imagining the life they belong to.
