Would it be possible to have items flash a different color if they are not only in the wrong spot but the wrong room?

We had a few items we couldn't 100% figure out what they were and a couple that were actually fully in a wrong room and it took a lot of trial and error to get it where it needed to go.

Yes please to this suggestion! Or add some kind of a hint mechanic, maybe. I have 2 items that I cannot figure out, and I don't know if I'm even trying the right rooms. It seems like wherever I try and place them it's not right, so I'm about to give up for the night.

I do think some kind of indication that the item is in the wrong room would be helpful though, perhaps the team could give that some consideration? You don't need to tell us which room it should be in, just that it's in the wrong one. Then we can try and figure it out from there. :)

It’s an interesting idea for sure, but I think it would complicate the messaging to add extra colours that mean different things. “Red line = wrong” is intuitive and doesn’t need explaining, whereas a system with multiple outlines that mean different things would require explanation and tutorialisation.
