Ok, so this morning, I tried to use my Nintendo Switch Pro Controller to play VRChat, and it turned on Safety Mode, which turns off my ability to see people's avatars. I turn off Safety Mode and still can't see people's avatars. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game and it's still the same result. Can someone PLEASE tell me how I fix this? PLEASE!!!!

Try going into Settings, then safety, then selecting "NONE", it should fix your problem.

I am having the same problem. I hit none and it still doesnt work. I need help. i am tired of clicking on people and turning avatars back on.

Press escape to bring up the menu and at the top there is a spot to disable safe mode. I do this all the time with my switch controller. I know your pain.
