Does anyone know if I can run VRchat in a virtual environment? (i.e., by installing windows 10 on a macbook using parallels)?

If you can get gpu passthrough and without unity crashing your hypervisor then yes

it would be better for you to go to linux, or even install windows (I don't recommend it, because windows is garbage), on your mac

Regardless, your privacy is nonexistant even with VPN's linux's etc.

If you connect to anything public or go to public websites there's monitoring everywhere and you can say goodbye to your privacy.

Hell just going to the bathroom or anywhere, yer monitored one way or another.

The difference is, whether it's a good or bad thing aswell as how much ya got to hide.

signing on steam already compromised your privacy. Linux is no different from windows

even some distros openly say they collect your data (like ubuntu)
