I've only used vr chat on the quest until recently, and after it updated all of the settings are ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up. I'ts forcing me to be left handed, I can't change my locomotion, the strafe also turns me but very jittery(not smooth turning), and now there are no usefull settings that actually do anything in the setings tab. WERE DID ALL OF THE ACTUALL SETTINGS GO

Haven't seen any updates that caused the settings to go haywire.
I'd recommend verifying your files and seeing if that helps you.

I've spent more than half an hour in Oculus settings, VRChat settings, and SteamVR settings. I double checked Virtual Desktop also. Everything checks out but for some reason, VRChat has made it so that my left hand does the controls for the right hand also. The only thing the game can detect from my right hand is location/am I waving my hand around. It wont do anything with the right controllers buttons or triggers. No problems in other games.

I don't know if it matters, but I'm running a Ryzen7 5800x, 64GB RAM, RTX3070. Game is installed on an SSD.

in the settings tab, click on the square with arrow icon on the top right to get the actual settings window.
For the left handed issue, hold the action button to get the wheely thingy, go up and look around to disable One controller movement.
My explications are vague because I can't verify right now.

It sounds like one of the bugs I had a while back.
A full restart of your computer should fix it.

Do this to fix it, its a bug with VRchat thats been thre forever.

Close Virtual Desktop
Close VRchat, SteamVR, then reboot PC
Start VD and launch VRchat again it should be fixed.
If not, do the steps above but reboot your oculus too.
