I know this may be a bit of a longshot but i used to go on this world called Yuque which was a vrchat adaptation of the game and it has since been deleted. i really enjoyed the world and i really wanna go back on it especially since i have a proper vr headset now. i went on the Worlds on vrchat beta website and i found the map and the authors name which was "H․P․ Lovecraft". i hope they or someone they know sees this and has a way for me to talk to them, i know it may seem a bit weird but i loved the world so much and i want to play it again, Thank you.

I don't know about that map but there is another great map called "ume Nikki" that's pretty good if u want to try it

Sadly your favorite maps being changed drastically or deleted is fairly common in vrchat. My favorite world, the Nexus from Demon's Souls, the author updated it to the ps5 version graphics and music and I hate it now.

Here's a couple things you can try

In the settings there is an option to "enable community labs." I did this and I was able to see a lot more levels when I searched

I also found this website where I can search and find more worlds but I don't know if this is just the public worlds and the community labs, but I found some stuff on here.

Here is one, a lot of them with the big red banner says REMOVED FROM VRCHAT so I guess you can't go there anymore. On the bottom of the the pages for each world you can join, there are EU USA and JP flags and links next to them that say PUBLIC FRIENDS PRIVATE. If you click on one of the links it will open the world in vrchat.
