At rank 5 i already struggle to make any sl with italy, because if i die, i have to kill atleast 3 ppl to make up for my recent death. Im imagining now that it wont be enough with the new changes.
Should i just go back to playing low tiers and never look back at top tier again?

Playing top tier was always prohibitive due to its costs, and not a lot of players can make ends meet at those BRs, unless they pay real money for it, which is a pity as I am quite sure that more money can be made in the long run if top tier is actually fixed...

If you're willing to play with less modern vehicles, at a lower BR, then things might be more affordable, and actually, enjoyable.

play air RB with AJ37 with now, 19k repair cost. I get 3.5-5.5k per kill now that they increased repair cost and lowered SL rewards. I CAN have two good games with +2-3 kills but if i fail one game and die, i lose 5 kills worth of SL.

to grind SL is to find the lowest repair cost tanks in the current lower tier ww2 vehicles with highest rewards, and grind that if you're looking to buy vehicles. If you solely play high tier to "gain SL" that's just a myth and doesnt happen.

high and top tier is for "having fun" while paying ingame currency for it. You should expect to lose it and "pay for the experience" of playing top tier tanks and planes.

Since their inner quarterly report decided that people are not buying SL enough with real money, they had to adjust it so that people will pay more for SL to play top tier.

lmao now everything above rank 3 or 4 is gonna be unplayable

Yes. Has always been the case. Top tier sucks.

The economy changes are not that bad its mostly just a normalisation between nations eg the more expensive ones are going down while the dirt cheep ones are going up

Gripes about the economy aside, common solution is to play a few lower level matches to build SL so you can afford to run high tier. Heli PvE and Naval is especially quite profitable IME.

Just because I can grind 1 million SL using my Cent Action X doesn't really solve me getting barely anything on a high tier battle. That said the thing you said is viable

I agree. Most things doesnt seem so bad. Considering we already have 15k SL rep cost top tier planes and it just streamlines it. Russia ground get pretty hefty increases, like they should. Way too cheap and since we have the economy based on "rank" it should be somewhat similar in all nations.

Ive looked at the top tier tanks with the changes and they are all in a 600 SL range. There are exceptions like the Black Knight which sits at a whopping 9,5k or the Merkava 4's that also sit at the 9,5k range.

F16's also get streamlined while the Mig29 goes up, which is good because its simply better than the F16's.

Mig21 SMT and MF going up to 20k is good tho. ♥♥♥♥ Miggers.

OP first do not ignore you gain SL/RP by means other then kills. Teamwork/supporting fire, Scouting, Capping, Best squad. Assists, critical hits, and too many to list.
The fixation so many players have exclusively on kills blinds them that every battle is a mission with an objective. Accomplish the objective and win the battle and repair costs will never be the issue. I rarely have 2 kills and yet I almost always have positive (after repair and ammo) SL
