update isn't out yet and they won't ever get rid of repair costs, they have to make money somehow and provide incentive to do so, IIRC repair costs will go down across the board but don't expect them to go away. Play well and you can make money even in current economy

I wonder if you would also use the "they need to make money" bs excuse if they made SL a battle pass exclusive thing ._.

Repair costs are the reason they are making less instead of more money, because people don't bother with some nations due to them, which is linked to not bother with their premiums either

They said roadmap on June 14th. Is it June 14th? I think an immediate boost of rewards would have gone a long way in the way of showing goodwill but the problem with that is even if you double rewards for the next two weeks until roadmap or econ changes come out, that presents the problem of "once you give it, it's hard to take it away". So any kind of stated temporary boost will be perceived as permanent and when it is taken away there will be riots again.

Ok examine the issue logically. It doesn't cost any money to repair. You don't need to use premium vehicles to earn SL (it helps)
The inputs into rewards are modifiers/repair costs/activity/
High modifier low repair make more for equal performance. Some high repair vehicles have high modifiers some low repair have low modifiers. The point here is not everything is equal.
some High repair battleships earn quite a lot.
And I would be remiss to forget to mention backups/boosters/wagers
Does anyone deny play style has an impact here?
One person can sit back far away and snipe and get a few kills/assist while another player takes a cap scouts an enemy and gets a teamwork and best squad. They are not the same.
They earn different amounts. Players who do the things that pay earn more then players that simply live for kills. Because there is no set price for a kill. One player can have 3 kills and earn more then another player with 5 kills.

Even without caps and assists, the reason this is true is because kill / assist earnings are based on how much of the "kill" you did. So if I crit out 5 crew members and you love tap him for the kill, you earn less than if I had just knocked out the loader and you did the rest yourself.

I think a lot of the earning scheme is kinda messed up. In stomps, you are rewarded for launching your third vehicle with a repair cost as they begin spawn camping you 4v12. You are rewarded for capping a point with friends with few silver lions than if you had sat on it solo (so now you have no real incentive to cap as a group). You are rewarded for fast wins with fewer silver lions in the game itself. There are so many cases where you are rewarded with penalties for trying to win and for playing the game the "correct" way. I've said this many times but I'll say it again, if Gaijin wants to remove 1 death leavers, incomplete lineups, and the like, the first thing they need to do is remove a ton of these penalties you pay for not winning the game. The incentive structure at this time is really not there to tell losing teams to play harder.
