You usual see them wearing clantags like GUUD, VPO, UFNF and so on.
They go in with squadrons of 2-3 people, mostly take the absolute highest top tier "currently most OP" vehicles possible, all spaded out and set up with weaponry to kill as many player vehicles as possible.
They are tryharding as much as possible to achieve the best K/D no matter what.

And thats the problem.

Meanwhile the other players are: "Casual player who just wants to swoosh around it fast jet, haveing barely unlocked 1-2 jets and maybe the first missiles for them"
"Premium player who (if you like it or not) finances the game you just play, buying a jet and just wanting to see if WT jetgames are worth the time."
"Long term player who likes the many different options the game has to offer, useing uncommon loadouts and lower br vehicles to get a more diverse experience from the game."

Now, everybody can probably think how this ends.

Tryhards go in as devastating as they can. Destroying the enemy team left and right in the first 5 minutes of the game, spawncamping the rest that have still some hope left.

The result: 75% of all players that where part of this game had a horrible experience, leaveing the game early and likely not going to play more games later one.

Seriously people, please keep the tryharding to custom games against other clans or the War Thunder League.

If you want that respect and admiration for your skill, you will not earn it by bullying casuals out of the game.

The only thing you will earn is either the spite and hatred of the players you just ruined the game from or an empty game with longer waittimes, do to lack of players. With half of them leaveing after one vehicle or outride leaveing when spotting your clantags.

It would be better if you all switch a gear down and releaxe will playing a matchmaking match until you confront someone that actually is a challenging opponent for you.

Or maybe try a different challenge, like: "Bombing runs with Jets, ground kills with SPAAs, close combat fighting with Battleships. And let´s not forget the classic, takeing vehicles that are way lower in br and putting up a serious fight with them."
You know, i´m not gona be impressed if you missile my Phantom down with an R-60 in a Mig-23. But outmaneuvering me and gunning me down in an G91 R/3, thats impressive.

Honestly don't understand why people think K/D is a big thing in this game, when it's almost irrelevant. Also asking skilled players to disadvantage themselves in a fight, by purposefully bringing in lower tier vehicles is like asking the sun to stop shining.

Its just kids finding yet another way to compete within themself and think by having good K/D they are gods in the game..
We all remember how it was to be young..all this urge to always shine and be the best.

Pretty much any youtuber you see today..

God forbid clan mates playing together in the top tier vehicles they spent a long time grinding towards! Outrageous!

Hmm, depense. If they search for a challenge to show there competence, that would be the way to go. I had once a M24 killing me in an XM-1, cause he used his scouting well, catching me offguard in cover and shooting mid drift. This is the kind of stuff where i´m not even mad and tip my hat instead.

Oh no, people that have skill play together and dont try to throw the match for their team, how bad. Do you really want people to throw matches just because the other team doesent have the skill needed to win? Because thats what it sounds like.

What are you expecting them to do? Not attack or something? The nature of the game is to kill the opposing team, not sure how you expect people to achieve that by 'taking it slow'

People play to win in these games, it's just the nature of them. I get that your frustrated from not very fruitful games, but I really don't know what you expect them to do....

Maybe join one of the clans and get in on the action?

Been that way since the game came out. Gsqd etc. Still see a few of them from time to time

Guess I'll tell my wife and my friends we can't squad together anymore and play because OP plays alone.

I never really understood the whole "tryhard" complaint that people throw out. Wanting to win isn't a bad thing and there's nothing wrong with wanting to be good at a game you enjoy. People have this weird misconception that the person that plays well is actually, well, trying. Some people are just naturally really good at the game and have fantastic situational awareness that has come from playing for so long. Nothing wrong with that.

People aren't required to play the game how you see fit. I have zero interest in custom games, so I never play them. Nobody I know does it for the "admiration of our skill"; I can only speak for myself obviously, but I do it because I like the feeling of excelling at something I enjoy. Simple as that.

Why would I want to intentionally handicap myself? That sounds awful. I'd never take a low-tier tank into high-tiers for the hell of it, as that sounds more idiotic than fun. I want to play the game the best I can, because that's what I find fun. People shouldn't be forced to play differently because [insert random internet person] is annoyed they have to fight clans, or people with friends that play together. That's how online games work since their inception. If Gaijin didn't want people squading with others, they'd disband that part of the game.

Expecting players to play how you want because you don't like [insert aspect of gameplay here] it is just illogical and a waste of effort.
