Gaijin is looking at changing from an efficiency system to a static rank system for RP & SL gains as well as repair costs and wanted community feedback in the form of a vote before pulling the trigger.

TL;DR

The rank based system will normalize a lot of stuff so that we don't see 20K repair costs for a rank 4 vehicle anymore (Ferdinand), but it will eliminate "cheap" repair cost vehicles as well (typically light tanks, SPGs, and AA).

Go lower Battlerating and farm silverlions. Good tanks to use is the kv1 with zis5 gun.

nah, its a mess, its more unbalanced than ever imo and the maps are just poorly designed. (careful if you say that russia is dominating top tier you might get censored)

Let go of the petty things and just try to find your niche in it to have fun.

I played WoT since its closed beta, I had WT too when it was just planes.
I played the piss out of WoT but its current direction is just so boring and out of touch.
Ive gotten into playing WT more, gotten used to the Tanks and how it works without hit points.
Enjoyed the planes again, even if just in simple dumb Arcade mode.
And boy have I had fun.
EVEN MORE with friends! Especially with planes, backing them up, staying together to be on each others side.
Oh yeah... War Thunder has a lot to give, you just gotta find it. Its not prefect sure, but what mass multiplayer game is?

Not really, I'm still playing on and off but finding it all pretty boring generally. Finding myself leaving early from most of the boring maps. One sided games seems to be happening more often than not.
Grind is ridiculous.
